You work hard. I do, too. You won’t find many or any people that don’t think they work hard, and we think our hard work and dedication to our goals are 100 percent responsible for our success.
I thought so, too, until I heard someone say that we need to recognize all the other people who contributed to that success. It’s important to recognize all the teachers and mentors you’ve had throughout your life that taught and guided you to where you are today. We have managers, coaches, parents, and even friends who offered feedback and guidance along the way to get you where you are.
Without them, who would you be? I know I’d be many steps behind where I am now if I hadn’t had the aid of my mentor, Rhonda Shasteen. She helped me navigate many confusing situations and develop the maturity and vision needed to succeed in any environment.
Thank all the people who contributed to your success today because you can!
