Our emotional maturity and intellectual maturity don't develop at the same pace. Many of us develop intellectually long before emotionally. You can learn tons of tips about emotional and intellectual maturity among other things through my mentor, Rhonda Shasteen, in my book Views from the 13th Floor: Conversations with My Mentor. I encourage you to keep growing up intellectually and emotionally because you can!
As you probably know, I wrote a book a few years ago called, Views from the 13th Floor: Conversations with My Mentor. The book was a non-fiction book based on my visits with Rhonda Shasteen, the Chief Marketing Officer (now retired) of Mary Kay. The entire experience was beautiful and got me hooked on writing. Who hasn't struggled with the control issue from time to time? Women in particular are notorious for being control freaks, maybe it's our uncanny ability to multi-task that lends to being controlling. I've decided to offer Views from the 13th Floor for $13 to give more people an opportunity to learn and grow from Rhonda just as I have. Below is a sample from the book and an example of the kinds of things we can all learn ...Read More

Conflict takes so many forms. It can be a personal conflict with a loved one, a difference in opinions in the office, as arguments between parents and children fighting, or between businesses and customers. Differences are rampant, but it's what we do with them that will make the difference between success and failure. A long time ago I published a post inspired by my mentor, Rhonda Shasteen, called ...Read More
