Life doesn't always go your way, does it? I know mine doesn't nd hasn't played out as I thought it would. Everyone makes poor decisions along the way and sometimes the unexpected
happens to you. As a result people are thrown off track and have to process new information, circumstances and emotions.
On the other hand wonderful things happen to you that bring love and joy into your life. People get that perfect job, get a raise, fall in love, get out of debt, or reach any life goal. All the happy times in life affect who we are as well.
What happens after the joy or challenge occurs? We learn, grow, and change. Most people say they became a better person as a result of a challenge. I've heard people who experienced major traumas say that they are more whole now than they were before the experience.
After thinking about this same subject again, I figured out that life is like bumper cars when something happens in your life you learn from it, which bumps you in a different direction. Some bumps are soft. Others are really hard. All the bumps can push you in a slightly different direction or in a sharp opposite direction just as the events of life change your personal direction.
This analogy helped me have a lot of understanding and peace about the happenings of life, and I hope it helps you too. Live and love life no matter what direction it bumps you because you can!
