Aren't we all so serious! Maybe it's almost everyone except kids and comedians. It's easy to get bogged down with work, responsibilities and our problems. We tend to drive all out of focus on those things because they hold the highest consequences if we ignore them. But, little did we know that playing can have a positive effect on your outcomes.
There are so many reasons why grown ups should play. When I say play, I'm not meaning; don't show up to work tomorrow to hit the casinos instead. Playing isn't about ignoring responsibilities, but rather, it's about incorporating play into your every day life and prioritizing playful activities in your personal time.
I assume this is easier for people with young children where playing is the most natural part of life. If you have young kids, play with them. If your kids are grown, be sure to watch funny shows, play video games and find other ways to bring play into your life. No matter what age anyone is, you can play a game, draw, or dance, and over time you'll find your mood and health are better. Let's play together because we can!
