Is it really worth it to take risks? Risks are a gamble, so you can stay where you are or win big. It’s easy to stay where you are because you are familiar with that that feels like. If you are in a bad situation, then it may be worth it to you to take risks because anything is better than your current situation. If you are in a decent state, then what would be the value in taking a risk? For you there may be none. It depends on what you want to get out of taking the risk. You are probably interested in taking responsible risks.
If you have desires to excel at anything, it will require you to step outside your comfort zone, stop fearing making mistakes, and put 100% of yourself into what you are doing. You will have to take some risk.
If you are at the gym and afraid to be uncomfortable with sweat and some pain, you will never achieve the results you desire. Take the risk of going to that place and letting yourself experience it. If you are in any form of art and do your art to stay safe and secure, you will never reach that place of expression that captures and wows people. If you are in a corporate job and work timidly, afraid to speak up and out, then you will remain in your same position.
How important is it to you to take things to the next level? If it is then you need to take risks. If you have a hard time going to that place in your mind that allows you to take risks, I recommend getting a coach or therapist to help you face any emotional blockage that keeps you from going there. They can also help you with the thinking you need to have when considering a risk. Hearing that voice directing you can be just what you need to reach places you never thought you could reach.
Only your fears of success, having people look up to you, and discovering what is truly inside can prevent you from getting there. Take risks and achieve your potential because you can!
