Are you afraid of love, health, and wealth? I think we’d all say, “NO!” to that question. We’d say that we’re not afraid of success because we work so hard every day to enjoy the ride to success. I’ve thought the same thing myself for a long time, but I think I’ve been lying to myself. I think I’ve been very afraid of success beyond a certain point, so I’ve plateaued and have become content and complacent in that place. I’ve had something going on and some sort of distraction to keep me from seeing my greatest success.
When I think of the power of the law of attraction, I think about the goals I’ve put on my vision board for 2015. Most of my goals for 2015 were action and goal oriented. I’ve been striving toward those, but I realized that I want to quit after meeting big hurdles like rejection and struggle to find myself in my art and creativity.
My goals this year are big stretches for me ad they will require me to press on even when I don’t feel like it or have the time. I know when you set performance goals at work, you work with managers to set some goals that will push you to excel. The purpose behind that is to help you grow. If you let fear set itself between you and your goal then you literally block yourself from achieving success. Say for instance, I’m afraid of the time I would have to perform tango in front of an audience. If I listen to the fear, then I’ll stay where I am and not pursue a dream. If I fear love, then I may isolate myself and not give in to love because fear creates a barricade wall around the heart and prevents success in that area of life. the fear of what is on the other side of success will prevent you from getting there.
I’ve blogged about being honest with yourself. Sometimes, I’ve been too busy working on this or that to be honest with myself about other things. Now, that I’ve been looking at my 2015 Vision Board with a big smile, I started thinking about how I’ll stretch myself to see happenthis year. I will engage in these 6 ways to thrive in success. If I’m true to myself, I’ll put things on my vision board without fearing them. I’ve seen the law of attraction in action enough to have that faith. Matthew 21:12 is in the Bible for a reason, because it is true. All that is asked of us is to ask without fear. Have faith in success because you can!
