I recently made a wonderful new friend who is a fellow author and blogger, and she even lives right here in Dallas, Texas. Because she lives in the same town we've had the fortunate experience to meet. Her name is Lane Morris Buckman, and she writes a blog about Women Worth Knowing. In her posts, Lane explores what makes a woman tick, what makes her feel valuable, and how she gives of herself. In her latest post, she features yours truly, Alexia Isaak. Please visit the post to learn a little more about me!
In addition to her blog, Lane has starting hosting regular events with the same theme, Women Worth Knowing, to give people a place to network and encourage each other. These events are open to all women AND men who would like to participate, and having attended, I must say it's well worth the time to spend an hour in the midst of amazing people.
Lane is truly a dynamic woman who knows the challenges of working and raising a family, while finding time to dedicate to writing. She is an amazing example of grace and balance. If you are in the Dallas area, I'd encourage you to attend the next Women worth Knowing event on May 21, 2011.
